After many a valiant searches and researches, it is now universally accepted that, it is not medication but yoga that is the most effective treatment for various types of back pain. This is, however, not to say that all types of yoga exercises relieve back pain. Your yoga teacher will be able to tell you, depending upon the severity of your back pain, the types of exercises you need to start with.
There are specific poses for relieving the back pain. Yoga exercises should not be done under pressure or with artificial compulsion. That is, hold on to each poses for 5 to ten seconds. Yoga is never done on bare floor. Use a mat or any soft supportive surface. Yoga exercises need to be done regularly. Morning hours are preferred though.
Some of the important yoga postures mentioned in relation to back pain are Cat Stretch, Wind Releasing pose, Corpse pose, Sage Twist, Palm Tree, Fish pose, Locust, Bending forward pose and many more.
The problem with the modern lifestyles, whether in office or at home, is that your body gets limited type of physical exercise. For example, you sit in a particular position in the office, for 8 to 10 hours. Other parts of the body are virtually left lazy. Even blood circulation is at times impaired. Toxins get deposited and the blood circulation is not proper so the problems start in that area.
Treatment for back pain has much to do with muscle relaxation. If muscles are stressed in particular part of the body, that surely means you have pain. Your local herbal medicine specialist or the Chinese Medical practitioner will be able to help you relieve your back pain, with medical formulations tested for back pain for thousands of years. The virtue of this sort of treatment is that they do not create any side effects.
Medication is okay, when you have back pain, herbal or any other. But, the real solution to get rid of the problem once and for all is to understand your body alignment. An insignificant looking thing may be the cause of your recurring back pain.
For example, the chair on which you sit. You sit in this chair for hours together and even if the alignment is slightly wrong, you suffer for the whole day. You feel uncomfortable, go on shifting from angle to angle, but over a period of time, your body will protest in the way, it should- by reporting pain. Unless the basic cause of the pain is treated, any medication is not going to do you any good.
So, home back pain relief methods are the best, only you have to chose your method and follow it with regularity and sincerity.

what can you say about Back pain relief with an easy recovery
Ten million adults suffer from chronic back pain and one million seek a surgical fix every year, but back surgery with less pain and less recovery time? Sounds too good to be true?
Doctors at Georgetown University are working on the procedure that could help.
Lateral Interbody Fusion or X-Lif involves a small incision in the patient’s side over the hurt disc.
X-rays guide tubes down to the spine using special tools to avoid muscle and tissue damage.
They’re locked into place with a flexible arm so the doctor can fuse the spine.
Recovery is four to six weeks instead of six to 12 months and patients are often walking within a few days.
A lot of back pain has to do with where we focus ourselves on. Don’t think about it and it usually goes away.

Sounds interesting but what about long term studies? Every time there is a new fusion study it is purported to be the best and then in long term it comes out that the disc above or below gives out due to the extra stress placed on it. So the people that get this procedure are now the test patients to see what is going to happen to them over the next few years. Are there any restrictions on these patients?

I had a fusion only 3 years ago, and already the discs above and below are bulging and giving me more pain than I used to have before my surgery. I am tempted to take the money for treatment (it’s a workmans comp injury) with a settlement and go to England to have surgery, as they perform disc replacement surgery there, which is highly successful but is not yet available in America. It would kill 2 birds with one stone as I am English and would get to stay with family for a few weeks

Have you thought about wearing a SACROILIAC BELT (aka SI BELT or TROCHANTER BELT) around your pelvis? What it does is that by providing the correct balance of resistance and resilience, the SI belt re-establishes the joint’s normal motion, thus relieves stress and instability at these weight bearing structures. The price of SI belts are in reasonable range these days, average cost is about $40 USD. I know a lot of people who wear SI belts, and I’ve read some astonishing testimonials about it. There are many si belts out there, but Serola SI Belt seems to be the best one as far as quality, comfort, and price are considered. Check out their website for more: http://www.serola.net/product_new_sac_belt.php
I think you can buy directly from their website at: http://serolabelt.com/new-serola-sacroiliac-belt.aspx
Hope it helps, good luck to you!
